AS BAD AS WE HAVE IT, IT IS NOTHING COMPARED TO HOWARD BEACH, ROCKAWAYS, BROAD CHANNEL -- PRAY FOR THOSE FOLKS TONIGHT.
1. 87th Avenue between 80th and 85th
2. 94th St and 85th Road
3. 85th Street downed tree between 91st and 88th Avenue.
4. Giant sycamore in front of 92-14 95th Street. It crashed through the parapet on 92-12 and is also on top of 92-10.
5. Tree fell on car on 91ave between wooden blvd and 92nd st.
6. 92nd 89th and 91st - trees down, cars crushed, wires sparking; unable to get 911
7. Power is out on Eldert Lane. As best as I can tell, the entire west side of the block is affected.
8. 87th st just closed between 85th road and park lane south by fire department.
10. Two different huge branches from two different trees down on 88 avenue between 88 and 89 street. Blocking road.
11. Unconfirmed rumors that our Christmas Tree on Forest Parkway is down. Confirmed.
12. Huge tree down across 85 Drive near 79 Street. There are cars under the tree and power lines down.
13. The transformer on the corner of 85th Street & 91st Avenue is sparking.
14. Another big tree down on 88th St. This time on a house.
15. A giant tree has come down and is being held up by a telephone pole on 87 street between 87th & 88th Avenues.
16. Cables down at 91st ave and 96 street. Running across both streets. Both came down from a large branch approx 2' in diameter.
17. Downed tree on 96th Street between 91st and 89th Avenue.
18. There are downed utility lines in front of 91-36, 91-33, 91-24, and 91-14 on 80th Street.
19. Tree down on Atlantic and 84th st (north side of Atlantic).
20. There is a large pine tree lying on ALL the wires overhead, the address is 94-35 85 Avenue.
21. Downed power line on 88th street between 89th avenue and 91st avenue at approximately 8924-8921
22. Downted tree blocking northbound Service road, off Atlantic on Woodhaven Boulevard.
23. Tree down, northbound service road, Woodhaven Boulevard between 89th Avenue and Jamaica Avenue.
24. Woodhaven Boulevard near Park Lane South
